Phnom Penh's Best International Restaurants

Aside from all the mouth watering Khmer cuisine, Phnom Penh boasts an ever-expanding delicious international food scene to rival any capital city. Here is a list of the top 6 hot spots around town:

Duck - #49 Sothearos Blvd
Duck is one of the latest additions to the capitals food scene and is making quite a splash (bad pun intended). Offerings include delights such as prawn linguini, fish and chips, Australian steak and, of course, duck. Weekend brunches have also proved very popular with really affordable (USD4-5) options such as classic eggs benny and french toast with maple syrup and bacon. Worth the hype!

The Lost Room - #48 Street 21
Hidden in Phnom Penh’s back alleys this little gem delights time after time. The highlight is the share entree plate and they have a nice varied wine and beer selection to match.  Definitely worth seeking out!

Raho - #159 Sisowath Quay
Located in the popular riverside precinct Rahu is an upscale fusion restaurant with a menu that includes things such as edamame, chicken wings and pork belly worth the flight to Cambodia in itself. A welcome oasis among the hustle and bustle that is riverside.

Luigi’s Pizza - #M36Eo Street 308
If Luigi himself is in you will be greeted like an old family member. The pizzas here are some of the best you will find outside of Napoli, the base a perfect mix of crunchy and soft and just the right amount of topping. Be sure to go inside and check out the antipasti cabinet for loads of home made treats.

Doors - #18 Street 84
The best Spanish restaurant in Phnom Penh, Doors offers a range of tapas as well as A La Carte. If you are after succulent beef look no further than Doors and their desserts are to die for (and only $3 a pop!!!). Love the food, love the decor, love the live music and the love the vibe!

ARTillery - St 240 1/2 & St 278
A leader in Phnom Penh’s vegetarian and vegan scene, ARTillery offers beautiful, healthy options now in 2 separate locations. Think raw zucchini pasta, mouth watering vegetarian platters, gluten free carrot cake and raw cheesecake. They do have meat options available ensuring there will be something for everyone!

Armands - #33 St 108

If you are after a great steak check out this great little French Bistro - best steak I have had in Asia, great wines, beautiful charcuterie platter. Be sure to take cash as there are no EFTPOS facilities...

This is just a taste of some of the options now available in Phnom Penh, get out, try a few. You won’t be disappointed!
